Day out in Liverpool

On Saturday I visited Liverpool with my mum, sister and nan! The weather was so incredibly hot, reaching 30 degrees celsius, but since it's England, it was still raining for a lot of the day of course.

We took an impromptu visit to a cat cafe. There were a lot of different cats! I took a picture of two of them: a crazy hairless cat (my boyfriend loves these hairless cats, and was really jealous that I saw one) and a sleepy looking siamese cat with a goofy face. I also took a picture with one of the cats, it was asleep in a cat tree. When we were about to leave, my sister had to use the toilet, and this cat tried to follow her into the bathroom... it was really cheeky!

We did a lot of hanging around shops. I enjoyed trying out this enormous Kurt Geiger handbag - actually, it was really heavy!. I didn't buy much, I was quite good at managing my impulse purchases - I didn't want to carry any extra things around since I was already carrying a lot. All I bought was a small moncchichi keyring, and a grumpy cats sticker book, both from Urban Outfitters. Well, I also picked up some magnets of some of the cats while I was at the cat cafe, but that's a souvenir so it doesn't count. (They also had some cat toys for sale, so I bought a fishing rod toy for my two cats!).

After shopping, we went to Rudy's for some pizza. It was good pizza, a lot of unusual pizza flavours. However we were a little overwhelmed with the noise and the small table size. Also, it was really hard to use the pizza cutters! The plates weren't the right surface for using a pizza cutter really. Overall we ordered way too much pizza and left feeling like we'd eaten enough food, so it was good, lol.

Afterwards, we had a walk up to the docks. I took some photos with this statue that's a hammer made of piled up rocks. I didn't touch it!! It looks really precarious, so I get nervous around it lol. But my mum got me to do some crazy poses with it.
